A Scene Worth Remembering in Not His First Priority

One stretch of Not His First Priority carries more of the series than a longer recap would.

When Luna Bennett's husband, Ethan, abandoned his eight-month-pregnant wife to play the devoted hero for his friend's fragile widow, Clara, Luna thought the betrayal would break her. Now, as she builds an untouchable life on her own terms, Ethan is left sobbing outside her locked door—but her mercy has already run dry.

That is the spine of Not His First Priority: the people in the synopsis do not get to pretend the story started somewhere else.
