A Scene Worth Remembering in The Downfall of the Fake Fiancée

One stretch of The Downfall of the Fake Fiancée carries more of the series than a longer recap would.

When Caleb Grant returns and finds his mother nowhere to be seen, he flies into a rage and swears to find her at all costs! Martha Grant comes home early on purpose to attend her son Caleb Grant's engagement party.

However, her son’s fiancée Zara Bennett mistakes her for Caleb Grant’s mistress, leaving Martha Grant publicly humiliated and verbally abused. When Caleb Grant returns and finds his mother nowhere to be seen, he flies into a rage and swears to find her at all costs!

That is the spine of The Downfall of the Fake Fiancée: the people in the synopsis do not get to pretend the story started somewhere else.
