A Scene Worth Remembering in The Wife's Secret

One stretch of The Wife's Secret carries more of the series than a longer recap would.

Alexander Sterling, president of Sterling Group, spent three years working overseas, only maintaining contact with his wife Seraphina via video calls. At his grand homecoming banquet, a ragged, disfigured vagrant woman burst into the venue—her eyes identical to those of his wife—and instantly shattered the peaceful facade he had believed in.

That is the spine of The Wife's Secret: the people in the synopsis do not get to pretend the story started somewhere else.
