A Scene Worth Remembering in Yes, Ma'am — She's Seven

One stretch of Yes, Ma'am — She's Seven carries more of the series than a longer recap would.

Kane trained her to become “the youngest trainee commander in Westbrook's history. ” She led a team at fifteen.

At eighteen, Kane altered the map during the finals, luring her and her unit into a bog. Her knees were ruined, and she was made the scapegoat.

That is the spine of Yes, Ma'am — She's Seven: the people in the synopsis do not get to pretend the story started somewhere else.
