The Person at the Center of Golden Eye

Every turn in Golden Eye lands on the same person, and the synopsis makes clear why they cannot step aside.

Golden Eye is carried by the situation named in the title. The series has not published a longer synopsis, so the drama stays fixed on that premise rather than a side plot.

That is the spine of Golden Eye: the people in the synopsis do not get to pretend the story started somewhere else.
