The Person at the Center of My Devoted Bodyguard

Every turn in My Devoted Bodyguard lands on the same person, and the synopsis makes clear why they cannot step aside.

Bound by a blood oath and hunted by family betrayals and fatal conspiracies, the young Don and his loyal wolf will risk everything to defy the underworld order that seeks to destroy them. Rescued from a rainy alley and chained past by mafia heir Elio, Rocco has spent fourteen years as his silent, fiercely devoted bodyguard—burying a forbidden love too dangerous to confess.

But when a forced political marriage threatens to tear them apart, Elio chooses defiance, turning his back on his own syndicate to claim the only man he truly belongs to. Bound by a blood oath and hunted by family betrayals and fatal conspiracies, the young Don and his loyal wolf will risk everything to defy the underworld order that seeks to destroy them.

That is the spine of My Devoted Bodyguard: the people in the synopsis do not get to pretend the story started somewhere else.
