What Dignity Reborn Keeps Coming Back To

Strip away the spectacle and Dignity Reborn is still about the same wound.

One dinner, and a single boiled shrimp, ignited yearslongbottledup resentment. Heartbroken, she dragged her suitcase out into the early hours of dawn and fled all the way to Miami, Florida.

After more than thirtyfive years of teaching, retired educator Eleanor Bennett moved in with her son for her golden years. Yet she found herself trapped under the constant disdain and quiet oppression of her daughterinlaw, Luna Wilson, stripped of even basic dignity in her own son’s home.

That is the spine of Dignity Reborn: the people in the synopsis do not get to pretend the story started somewhere else.
