Where the Conflict in Don't Mess With Acupuncturist Ex-Wife Breaks Open

Don't Mess With Acupuncturist Ex-Wife is driven by a collision that was already underway before the first scene.

Now I'm the miracle healer all of Boston begs for — and the husband who never once looked at me is on his knees, too late. Handed separation papers and eight thousand dollars after three years of keeping his grandfather alive, I walked out of Black Pine Hollow with nothing but my needles.

That is the spine of Don't Mess With Acupuncturist Ex-Wife: the people in the synopsis do not get to pretend the story started somewhere else.
