Where the Conflict in Moon Goddess's Chosen Tamer Breaks Open

Moon Goddess's Chosen Tamer is driven by a collision that was already underway before the first scene.

Now, as the awakened Divine Tamer commanding the North's most ruthless rival pack, my former mate is begging on his knees in the snow—but my mercy ran out the day he broke my soul. When my fated mate, the Alpha, publicly rejected our bond and left me to die for a manipulative traitor, I thought my life was over.

That is the spine of Moon Goddess's Chosen Tamer: the people in the synopsis do not get to pretend the story started somewhere else.
