Love That Was Delayed

Love That Was Delayed Storyline

Five years ago, Luna Bennett, a pastry chef, was divorced by Ethan Hayes, the city's top heart surgeon, after he received a diagnosis of “permanent infertility” and, believing he could never give her the child she longed for, coldly pushed her away to set her “free.” Already pregnant, Luna hid her test, signed the papers, and gave birth alone in the delivery room to twins Stella and Lily, raising them through five years of hardship with nothing but her small dessert studio. Now, when Lily is rushed to the hospital with a high fever, Luna comes face to face with Ethan again; and when her five-year-old son Stella appears with a face that mirrors Ethan's own, a paternity test confirms the twins are his, while a fresh checkup reveals his fertility was never in question—the diagnosis was forged.
