Oops, the Hocky Captain is Obsessed Storyline

For Avery, the ice rink was a place of solitude, and the university hockey team was just a group of loud, arrogant jocks she preferred to avoid. Especially Jaxson Reed—the captain, the campus golden boy, and the man whose ego was as massive as his fan base. Avery had one rule: keep her head down and finish her degree without getting entangled with the team. But when a chance encounter in the locker room—involving a misplaced jersey and a very incriminating secret—forces them into a fake dating arrangement, her rulebook goes out the window. Jaxson is supposed to be playing a part to clean up his image. He’s supposed to be detached. But as the fake dates turn into real, heart-racing moments, the hockey captain finds himself losing control. He doesn't just want to win the championship anymore; he wants to win Avery. And for Jaxson, 'obsessed' is an understatement. He’s no longer looking at the scoreboard—he’s looking at her, and he’s not letting her go until the final buzzer sounds.
