The Return of the True Heiress

The Return of the True Heiress Storyline

The Return of the True Heiress follows Arthur Hayes, chairman of the Hayes Group, whose birthday banquet for his daughter Luna is shattered when a beggar woman crashes in and claims to be the real heiress. The Brooks family—Luna's husband Lucas, his father Robert, and his mother Eleanor—seize the moment, pushing a forged paternity test that brands the daughter living at home as a fraud. Pretending to go along with their scheme, Arthur secretly has a national forensics expert blind-test the samples, exposing the forged document, then traces the truth back three years: Lucas once paid a boatman to drown Luna so the family could seize the fortune, but she survived and spent three years hiding and plotting her return. At the recognition banquet, Luna reveals herself, the police arrest the conspirators, and the court delivers justice. The story ends with Luna taking over the company and her devoted stand-in Lily Brooks welcomed as a second daughter—both "daughters" finally find their home.
